Connaught Golf Club Course Rules
General information regarding our course rules and attire.
Dress Code
Appropriate golf attire is required for use of the golf facilities.
1. Proper footwear must be worn while golfing: soft soled shoes or golf shoes with non-metal spikes.
2. Men's wear permitted: Collared shirts or crew neck tee shirts with sleeves must be worn at all times. Shorts must be tailored and have pockets. Jeans are permitted if they are clean and non-tattered. Clothing NOT permitted: Shirts with offensive slogans, short shorts, gym wear of any kind and cut-offs.
3. Ladies wear permitted: All current fashion golf wear. Blue jeans are allowed if they are clean and non-tattered. Clothing NOT permitted: Bare midriffs, spaghetti strap tank tops, shirts with offensive slogans, short shorts, gym wear of any kind and cut-offs.
Connaught Golf Club reserves the right to deny access to the facilities to anyone dressed inappropriately.
Pace Of Play
The Connaught Golf Club has an expected pace of play of 4
hours and 30 minutes or less. Course Marshals and Starters will
be provided at peak times to help assist players in maintaining
this pace to enhance the enjoyment of everyone's golf
experience.
Golf Liability / Course Rules
Golfers are liable for any property damage and personal
injury resulting from their golf shots.
Connaught Golf Club may restrict cart usage due to extreme
wet conditions. Pull carts are to be kept at least 20 feet from
the greens. Power carts are to be kept on pathways around greens
and tee boxes, not past marked areas in front of greens, and off
slopes at all times. Abuse of these guidelines may result in
loss of cart privileges.
Each guest or member must have a set of clubs (sharing of
sets is prohibited).
In order to speed up the cutting of greens, we ask that the
players please give way to the workers who are cutting the greens.
